During our stay at Dc International Hostel 1, we found the location to be incredibly convenient, with a metro stop just a 5-minute walk away. This made it so easy for us to explore the city and get around. Additionally, the hostel had a spacious kitchen which was perfect for enjoying a cup of tea in the morning.
It is worth mentioning that the hostel lacked the vibrant and social atmosphere typically associated with hostels. Nonetheless, overall our experience was satisfactory.

I recently stayed at a charming hostel in the heart of Adams Morgan for a week. The location was perfect, surrounded by lively bars and restaurants, and just a short walk away from the National Mall. The rooms were comfortable, with a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere, reminiscent of visiting your grandma's house. I felt safe knowing that the police were present 24/7 outside, keeping a watchful eye. Additionally, there was a free panda zoo nearby, making it a unique and enjoyable experience.
Would be happy to recommend this hostel.

I recently stayed at the hostel for a short vacation in DC. The location was very convenient, with easy access to the subway, restaurants, and a big superstore. The street felt safe, even when I was traveling alone. The hostel was filled with people attending the same congress as me, which made it a pleasant and comfortable environment. The female-only rooms had an interesting mix of women, creating a unique atmosphere. I also enjoyed dining at Chaplins, a great restaurant just blocks away, with delicious food and discounted happy hour drinks. The host, Fareed, was welcoming and made sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. a great value compared to other places in DC.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the convenient location near a 7-11, metro stop, and bus stops. the bathroom facilities were excellent, with stalls, a small shower closet, and a separate shower with a curtain. This ensured that we never had to wait for someone to finish showering or using the restroom. It was also great to have a kitchen available for our use. the beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the brand new washer/dryer on-site. the hostel provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Felt like a home away from home, with no complaints to mention.

I had a great value for my money at this hostel. The room was comfortable and the location was excellent, with easy access to the metro. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
The only thing that could make breakfast better would be to offer a wider variety of options.

I gotta say, for the price I paid, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and modern, with a good fridge and nice bathrooms. The staff, oh man, they were so friendly and helpful. They even made sure I got the bottom bunk bed I needed. And the location, it was super convenient, just a stone's throw away from the Metro and downtown. Loved it!
The breakfast experience could use a little improvement, maybe some more variety or fresh options would be nice. But overall, it was a great stay.

I recently stayed at a fantastic hostel in the heart of Adams Morgan. The location was perfect for exploring the vibrant bars and restaurants, and even walking distance to the free PANDA ZOO. The beds may look small, but they were surprisingly comfortable, providing me with many restful nights of sleep. The bathrooms were clean and the mini kitchen was a great addition. Plus, the constant presence of police cars outside made me feel safe throughout my stay.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.
